WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

A collection of street-style photographs taken around south Devon. Main locations include Brixham, Paignton, Torquay, Dartmouth, Totnes, and the middle of Torbay (when it isn't too rough...)

Rather than financial gain, I take photos for my own enjoyment and for the pleasure of others, aiming to capture the life, soul, emotion and humanity of people and places. Too often I see inquisitiveness, curiosity, and wonder being killed by modern technology - heads bent and oblivious to surroundings. Through photography I hope that others may be inspired to really look at and see and appreciate the wonderful world and thoroughly genuine and often humorous, flamboyant and fascinating people around us - people embracing life.

Who knows in a couple of hundred years or more what historians will make of these photographic records that you are helping to write. Do enjoy my 'work', and please share it freely.
